With experience advising exempt organizations at KPMG and EY, she brings a strong foundation in responsible financial management and regulatory accuracy.
As a mom of four, Cassandra cares deeply about building a strong, connected community where people genuinely support one another. As Treasurer, she is focused on ensuring responsible stewardship, financial transparency, and sustainable practices that allow the organization to continue expanding its impact.

Cassidy Phoenix
PresidentFrom a young age, Cassidy Phoenix has had a passion for caring for others. With deep roots in the service industry and over two decades of experience working with children, she brings a heart for service to everything she does.
Cassidy’s journey through various communal living environments provided her with a unique perspective on the power of collective action. She saw firsthand what is possible when people unite for a common goal. This vision became personal when her son was born in Massachusetts, and she was supported by the "Hilltown Village Closet," a non-profit that provided essential baby items entirely for free.
Inspired by that experience, Cassidy vowed to bring that same spirit of radical generosity to her hometown of Sedona, AZ. Today, as a single mother working full-time, she is diligently building a legal 501c3 non-profit. Her mission is to meet the basic needs of local families while creating a foundation where every child grows up feeling supported and loved.

Jaime White
SecretaryJaime White serves as Secretary for The Verde Villages, where her heart for helping others meets her love for building strong, connected communities. In addition to her work with The Verde Villages, Jaime also serves as Secretary for her church, Abide, and sits on the advisory board for My Kota Bear, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting families with children in the NICU.
Whether organizing events, coordinating resources, or offering a listening ear, Jaime is dedicated to serving with compassion, excellence, and integrity.

Witnessing the Verde Villages' humble beginnings during pop-ups at the park, and seeing how it has blossomed into a significant resource, has been truly inspiring. Kelsea's vision is to build upon current successes, creating even more opportunities for families to connect, support one another, and thrive.

Whether organizing playdates, connecting families, or creating spaces where parents can find support, she's dedicated to ensuring no family feels isolated in their journey.
Now a Sedona local with her husband and their three boys, Micheala continues her mission of service through The Verde Villages. When she's not building community, you'll find her enjoying family time, hiking, running to the creek, making candles, and—of course—organizing lots of playdates.
